The Express Technician will be responsible for performing light maintenance including automotive lube, oil, and filter changes, and performing safety inspections as needed.
Duties include:
- Drains oil from crankcase and refills with required oil to manufacturer specifications
- Checks tire pressure and adds air if needed
- Completes multi point inspections and completes inspection paperwork
- Communicates with Parts Department to obtain needed auto parts
- Up selling lubrication, safety inspection, or other related services
- Maintains records on regular customers, following up periodically by phone, mail or personal reminders
- Communicating effectively with Automotive Service Advisors
- Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs
- Keeps abreast of manufacturer service bulletins
- Documents all work performed and recommended on the Repair Order
- Keeps shop and work area neat and clean
- Ensures that customers’ cars are kept clean and notifies the Automotive Service Advisor immediately of anything that has occurred to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
- Other duties as assigned

Pay is $17.00 hourly flat rate
Applicants who wish to be considered for employment by Dave Mungenast St Louis Honda must hold a valid Driver’s License and have a clean driving record. You must be capable of lifting a minimum of 50lbs and able to stand upright all day and maneuver into awkward positions.
