Dave Mungenast St Louis Honda is hiring an experienced Honda Technician. You should have previous experience working as a general technician and be responsible for performing diagnoses and repairs of most vehicle components with no supervision.
Other duties include:
-Performing work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in
accordance with dealership and factory standards.
-Saving and tagging parts of the job if under warranty.
-Examining assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is
required or recommended.
-Completing all necessary paperwork and inspection points for the manufactures
Pre-Owned Certification standards as in accordance with the manufacturer.
-Road testing vehicles when required.
-Reporting machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
-Maintenance and accountability for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
-Understanding, keeping abreast of, and complying with federal, state, and local
regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
-Reporting any safety issues immediately to management.
-Maintaining a clean and professional work environment.
-Maintaining a safe work environment.
-Performing other duties as assigned.
Pay starts at $72,000 yearly and goes up depending on experience.

This job is scheduled on a 4-day work week! Although Saturdays are required, every three weeks you get Friday through Tuesday off!
Qualifications:
-Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
-State Inspectors License
-Must have basic computer knowledge and typing skills.
-This position requires pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying of up to 50 lbs., as well as all-day standing and frequent movement (i.e. bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, and getting into and out of vehicles).
-Courteous, effective, and professional communication with customers and staff is
required.
